It all began with the fox! It’s all his fault!
Well, no, that’s just nonsense…
What happens when sincerity confronts the fear of being seen? When the pain of loss sinks you to your lowest point, and vulnerability drains all the strength to fight?
I started telling stories about the fox. These stories are about me—about the loss of home, about pain, the impossibility of pretending, and about loneliness. This process is both therapeutic and meditative. My works are a result of deep self-reflection. They speak to the search for stability and grounding in times of personal and collective turbulence.
Clay is my primary medium. In my project exploring emigration, I worked with high-fire clay, porcelain, mirrors, and transparent spheres. The contrast between these materials adds layers of dimensionality to the work, drawing the viewer into a space that feels both intimate and otherworldly—inviting them into my dreams.
